Integration Science
“The rate of integration equals the rate of societal change, hence the rate of learning must equal the rate of change”
A new scientific view
In existing publications a number of scientific fields like political science, economics, business administration, communication science, religious science etc. are labelled as “integration sciences” because they integrate other sciences as “auxiliary sciences” in order to achieve their own self-realization, which, however, could be interpreted to mean the “integration of science”.Based on advanced research of existing definitions of the term “integration science”, a further definition was developed and added, and a new meaning opened up which paved the way for a new field of teaching and research:Integration Science, here generally defined as the area of science to explore the coherence, causes and effects of integration processes. As a result of further explorations of the term "integration" as it appears in the cultural sciences, sociology, pedagogy, philosophy, psychology and ethics, as well as in recent works and publications, a central focus was discovered within all existing definitions, namely that all definitions laid a concentration on the integration of Human beings.
Human Integration Science
These findings led to the development of a new area of science, henceforth called Human Integration Science, defined as the area of science to explore the coherence, causes and effects of the processes of human integration into new worlds of cultural and social contexts, and their interrelatedness.Human processes of integration require a number of new insights and behavioral changes that increase knowledge through cognitive, cultural and social sensitivity and empathy, the latter to be achieved by autonomy, behavior and self-control. The human integration processes are generally based on extrinsic and intrinsic features, however, may they be actively supported through goal-oriented information, counselling, coaching and guidance.
